Historical developments in dairy and livestock sector with the facilitation of SIFC

Islamabad: Thanks to the active facilitation of Special Investment Facilitation Council, a historic milestone has been crossed in Pakistan’s dairy and livestock sector. SIFC is playing an important role in promoting institutional coordination, global partnerships and an investor-friendly environment.
Pakistan Agricultural and
Memorandums of understanding on agricultural and livestock cooperation were signed between Pakistan Agricultural Research Council and Agricultural Technologies Cluster of Turkey. SIFC provided special facilities in this important agreement.

Under the agreement, a comprehensive framework for cooperation in agricultural research, innovation and technology transfer has been created. Bilateral cooperation is expected to increase agricultural production through the development of modern corporate livestock farming and export value chain.

Pakistan and Turkey are promoting institutional linkages, role of private sector and technology-based development in agricultural and livestock sector. This development is a clear proof of the effective facilitation and institutional coordination of SIFC.
